The Tet Offensive, an attack by the North Vietnamese in the Vietnam War, called to attention the American media’s responsibility in reporting wartime events. After the Tet Offensive, using their right to report, the media negatively affected public opinion about the Vietnam War, President Johnson, United States soldiers and even quickened the conclusion to the war.
